Screening for Plagiarism Policy
International Journal of Conservation and Aquatic Innovation Research (CAIR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. All manuscripts submitted to the journal will undergo plagiarism screening prior to the peer review process using recognized plagiarism detection software.
The journal applies a maximum acceptable similarity index of ≤ 20%, excluding references and commonly used phrases. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity and nature of the similarity detected.
Plagiarism in any form, including direct copying, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, or the use of unpublished or published materials without proper citation, is strictly prohibited. Confirmed cases of plagiarism will result in rejection of the manuscript or retraction of the published article in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics and COPE guidelines.
