International Journal of Conservation and Aquatic Innovation Research (CAIR) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and originality of all published manuscripts. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

  1. Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial team to assess their suitability with the journal’s scope, compliance with author guidelines, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected without external review.

  2. Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to plagiarism screening using recognized plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity levels will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

  3. Reviewer Assignment
Each eligible manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area.

  4. Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific rigor, methodology, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field. Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations for improvement.

  5. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection. The decision is communicated to the authors along with reviewers’ comments.

  6. Revision and Final Decision
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the reviewers before a final decision is made by the editor.

  7. Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and final proofreading before publication in the scheduled issue.
