Abstract

This research is situated within the field of studies on the evaluation of Information Systems success. More specifically, it focuses on assessing the success of a Geographic Information System (GIS) used in the marine fisheries sector in Morocco. The study pays particular attention to post-implementation evaluation by exclusively considering users’ perceptions and acceptance of the system. It seeks to understand the processes of assimilation, comprehension, acceptance, and evaluation by the actors who use the system. In this study, the user is deliberately placed at the forefront and at the center of the research questions.
